Wedding Photography in Vancouver & the Lower Mainland

Getting ready, the ceremony, the portraits and the party — photographed as they happen. Documentary coverage for most of the day, with one organised block of family photos so nobody gets left out. Booked by the hour, from $1,200 for the first two, so you pay for the hours you actually want covered.

Photographed, not directed

The best wedding photos happen when nobody is waiting on the photographer. Coverage is built to stay out of the way, with just enough structure that the pictures you actually want get taken.

Wedding day coverage

Getting ready, arrivals, the ceremony, speeches, the cake, the first dances and the quiet moments in between — documentary through the whole run of the day.

Guided family photos

One organised block for family and wedding-party groups, from a list we agree in advance. I’ll round people up and keep it moving, so the reception doesn’t stop for an hour.

Instant delivery

Guests receive a private gallery of their own photos within minutes of being taken, where the venue Wi-Fi allows. $400 per event, and the most popular add-on for receptions.

WEDDINGS

Wedding photography that still feels like a wedding

You do not need to know how to pose, and neither does your aunt. I guide when guiding helps and disappear when it doesn’t, which is most of the day.

Fifteen or twenty minutes away from the party is usually all it takes — sometimes a short walk to better light.

A timeline and a family list, then a light touch on the day

Ahead of the wedding we go through the running order and the group-photo list: which relatives travelled, who must be photographed together, and the details with meaning that I would otherwise walk past. Venues I haven’t worked before get looked at in advance.

On the day I arrive early, work quietly, and keep the family photos to a single organised block rather than interrupting your reception again and again.

What you get back

Same-week gallery of edited selects
Full personal usage rights, print and share freely
A guided family set, everyone on the list accounted for
Optional instant delivery so guests leave with their own photos

Toasts, tables and the dance floor

The part of the day nobody rehearses. Documentary coverage through the speeches, the toasts and everything after them.

Wedding photography pricing

Wedding photography questions

How much does wedding photography cost?

The first two hours are $1,200, which is the minimum booking, then every hour after that is $350. Four hours is $1,900, six is $2,600 and eight is $3,300, before GST. See wedding pricing →

Do you offer wedding packages?

No fixed packages. Weddings are priced by the hour on a wedding rate card: $1,200 for the first two hours, then $350 per hour. You pay for the hours you actually want covered.

How many hours should we book?

Six to eight hours covers getting ready through the first dances. Four is usually right for a ceremony plus portraits and speeches, and two works for an elopement or city hall ceremony.

Will you make us pose all day?

No. Most of the day is documentary. Family and wedding-party photos happen in one organised block from a list we agree beforehand, so the celebration isn’t stopped over and over.

Do you travel to our venue?

Across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley — Langley, Surrey, Vancouver, Abbotsford, the North Shore and out to Chilliwack.

When do we get the photos?

A gallery of edited selects the same week, with full personal usage rights. With instant delivery ($400) your guests also get their own photos within minutes of being taken.

One day, photographed properly.

Send the date, the venue, and roughly how many guests for a quote within one business day.
