How a commercial shoot runs
No surprises on the day and no surprises on the invoice. The shot list, the schedule and the licence are all agreed before anyone unpacks a camera.

You tell me what the images are for. I come back with a written shot list, a schedule, the licence, and a fixed quote — including any location fee.
On location or in studio
Kitchens get shot between services, shops around production. You see frames on a tethered screen as we go, so approvals happen on set instead of a week later.
Retouched & sized to use
Retouched selects in a private gallery in five to seven business days, exported for web, print and paid social. Rush turnaround when a launch date is locked.
What a commercial quote is based on
Commercial photography starts from $750 and is priced per project, not per package. Four things move the number: how long the shoot runs, how many dishes, SKUs or spaces are on the list, whether styling, props or models are needed, and how widely the images will be licensed. Small jobs — a dozen packshots, one menu refresh — are quick to quote. Multi-location campaigns get a proper production plan first.

Both. Food, drinks, hospitality and industrial work are shot on location in your restaurant, brewery, shop or job site. Product and packaging work is faster and more consistent in the Langley studio.
Every quote states the licence in plain language — where the images can run, for how long, and in which markets. Website, social, menu, print and paid advertising are all normal; it's written in up front.
A 10–15 dish menu shoot is usually a half day between services. A studio packshot day covers 20–40 simple products, fewer when each needs styling or a set. The shot list sets the schedule.
Yes — Surrey, Abbotsford, Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, the Tri-Cities, Maple Ridge, White Rock and Chilliwack. A location fee applies based on distance and appears on the quote before you book.
Often the most efficient way to do it. Many commercial shoots add a on-site headshot station or team headshots to the same booking, so staff photos match the brand imagery.
