First birthdays, kids’ parties & new arrivals
Small people move fast and rarely on cue. These get photographed at their pace — with a few minutes set aside for the family frames you’ll actually print.
A short conversation beforehand, then a light touch on the day
Ahead of time we agree the handful of things that must be photographed: the speeches, the group shots, the people who travelled to be there, and anything with meaning that I would otherwise walk past.
On the day I arrive early, work quietly, and keep the group photos to a single organised block rather than interrupting the celebration repeatedly.

The same rate for every kind of event. Coverage is billed by consecutive hours, with a two-hour minimum, and the hourly rate drops the longer the day runs.

Two hours covers a birthday lunch or a shower. Three to four is right for most evening parties — arrivals, speeches, cake and the first stretch of dancing.
