Fireplace, tree and gifts
Stone fireplace glow, a lit tree at the edge of frame and a pile of wrapped boxes to hand the kids. Matching pyjamas, holiday sweaters and the family dog all belong here.
Bright, soft and timeless
A clean white backdrop with warm string lights, a white bench for the kids and room for grandparents. It reads festive without shouting, so the prints still look right in July.
What a Vancouver Christmas mini includes
One set, one lighting setup and thirty focused minutes, which is what keeps a mini short and the price where it is. We start with the full group, then split into pairs and the kids on their own. Best for families up to about six people.
Same price and the same ten images as the Langley Christmas minis, on different dates, so pick whichever studio is closer.
Where your session happens
333 Terminal Ave #700, Vancouver, BC V6A 4C1, a short walk from Main Street and Science World SkyTrain station. The set is built and lit before your slot, so you walk in and start.
Open by appointment only, with no walk-in hours. Sessions run back to back on mini days, so arrive five minutes early with the kids changed and ready.
Main Street and Science World station on the Expo Line, a few minutes on foot. Pacific Central Station is next door.
Street parking on Terminal Avenue and a pay lot nearby. Easy access from Main Street and Clark Drive.
Suite 700, by appointment only. Buzz in at the door and someone will meet you.
On the day
Dressing for the warm set
Reds, forest green, cream and holiday plaid all sit well against the stone and the tree. Matching family pyjamas work here and nowhere else, so this is the set for them.
Dressing for the white set
Creams, soft neutrals and denim, with one red or Santa hat as the accent. Avoid pure white top to bottom on everyone or the family disappears into the backdrop.
How it runs
Full group first, then parents together, then each child on their own. Bring a spare top for the kids in case of spills, and a favourite toy if it helps them settle.

Vancouver Christmas mini questions, answered
At our Vancouver studio, 333 Terminal Ave #700, a short walk from Main Street and Science World SkyTrain station. It is open by appointment only, so the set is lit and ready for your slot.
The warm fireplace set is the classic Christmas card: reds, greens, a tree and gifts. The white set is softer and more timeless, and the prints work on the wall all year. Each set has its own two dates, so the date that suits you often decides it.
Yes. Galleries are delivered within a week of the session, so even the November 22 date leaves time to order cards and prints before the holidays.
Yes. Dogs have been part of both sets and they photograph beautifully in a holiday sweater. Mention it in the booking notes so the slot is planned with a little extra settling time.
Main Street and Science World SkyTrain is a few minutes on foot and Pacific Central Station is next door. Driving, there is street parking on Terminal Avenue and a pay lot nearby. Buzz in at the door for suite 700.
Yes. $295 plus GST for 30 minutes and 10 finished images at either studio, with a $50 deposit to book. Only the dates and the sets differ.
